What are Electronic shelf labels
Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) are innovative digital price tags designed to replace traditional paper labels in retail environments. Electronic shelf tags use wireless technology to communicate with a central hub to form a dynamic pricing automation network.
As per FSSAI regulations of Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Regulations, 2020. Starting October 2023 mentioning “Best before date” & “Date of manufacture” will be mandatory.
